Arbury Road − Proposed Permanent Closure

We have just been made aware that a proposal to permanently close Arbury Road to through traffic has been passed unanimously by the Highways and Transport Committee (HTC) of Cambridgeshire County Council in September 2020. There seems to have been very little consultation, despite the profound implications for St Laurence’s parishioners, our school, and other local residents. The current councillor for the area is strongly in favour of the closure.

We would encourage parishioners who may be adversely affected to consider this issue when voting on 6th May.
